My name is Raebecca Kilcoyne, I was born and raised most of my life in Coos County. My family is full of Veterans from all different branches of the Military, from Grandparents, Brothers, Cousins, Uncles and Aunts. Unfortunately I have seen first hand how hard it is for Veterans to adapt to life as a civilian.
I spent most of my adult life working within financial institutions. In 2017 with the help, support, and encouragement from my husband Richard Kilcoyne and family I decided to go back to school and get my Associate Degree. In the middle of COVID-2020 I graduated SWOCC with three Associates Degrees with an emphasis in business along with a certificate in Supervisory and Management. I was on the hunt for my future career, one that would allow me to share and apply my past and current skills with the ability to grow not only as a person but as a member of the community.
I started working for ORH seven months ago as an Administrative Assistant, my current position as a Finance/Grant Manager allows me to have a better understanding for the needs not yet met within our homeless population, especially our homeless Veterans. I am proud and honored to be a part of the vision that ORH is bringing to our Veterans as well as the entire community.
Success is not how high you have climbed, but how you make a positive difference to the world.
